My wife sent me her original documents plus DS-230 But The US Customs sized them after a week of calling they told me they want to check if they are authentic documents. It could take 2 or more weeks nobody knows. Anyone has a similar problem

*confused* why did she send her original birth certificate? NVC doesn't ask for a birth certificate for a CR1.

Birth certificate IS REQUIRED for CR-1 visa.

It has be to either:

1) A photocopy certified by the ISSUEING AUTHORITY.

2) An original

To make sure folks don't get confused on point 1 here from Nutty. She is absolutely right. A photocopy that you make is not the same as a photocopy certified by the issuing authority (this is also known as a 'certified copy'). For your DS-230 applications, please remember to use either originals or certified copies!
As most embassies are now 'appointment post, most people will need to gather all of these documents. As it may take some time, start now.

To the OP: just wait the two weeks. The documents will be returned.

This happens randomly sometimes even though I haven't experienced it.

Which courirer did you use? What did you mention on your custom forms? Value of documents, all these triggers check.

Usually, you have to mention business documents/personal documents.

Keep on top of it and be in touch with customs/courier service until you receive package.
