I'm doing James' Shortcuts and I noticed the I-864 has a cover sheet.

Do the DS-3032 and I-864 Bill need a cover sheet? I'm assuming no but I'm just double checking.

Yes, you need the barcoded cover sheet.

OK, I have the barcoded sheet for the DS-3032 and I generated the bill for the I-864.

Are you the petitioner or beneficiary? You can take care of the choice of agent (DS 3032) by emailing the NVC. The beneficiary should email NVC to appoint his/her US Citizen spouse to be the choice of agent. By emailing, you can save some days in the process. So I recommend the email option highly. The choice of agent acceptance by NVC will enable NVC to generate IV Fee bill and the IV Fee bill acceptance by NVC will enable NVC to generate DS 230 packet.

As long as you make AOS Fee Bill Conversheet, you can send them away. The current fee is $70.00. But if you wait to receive the AOS fee bill, it will be fine too. You won't save anytime, if you wait to receive the AOS fee bill, as it will enable NVC to generate I-864 for you.

Do you mean cover letters OR cover sheets? They are two different things. Cover letters are just that, a letter describing the NVC what's in the envelope you're sending and that's it. A cover sheet is the barcoded sheet you get from them that you have to include in the envelope. If you generated it yourself then that's fine, but they HAVE to be sent to the NVC. Cover letters are optional.

OK, I thought cover letters were optional. I didn't include one for the Choice of Agent or the I-864 fee bill. I generated them per James' shortcuts and sent them.
