I need help with the canadian tax return for year 2007. we (myself and spouse) came to US in Aug 2006. we only had US income for year 2007 except for canadian child benefit during 2007. What is the tax status we should apply for? As a canadian nonresident for year 2007. what is to be reported int he tax return when we don't have any canadian income during the year 2007 except for the child care benefit we receive? Help appreciated.
