Depends on your status and how long you have been here. If K-1 and you haven't been here 76 days, it's possible. If K-3 you need an EAD card no matter how long you have been here.

K-1 can get SSN within 76 days of entry to the USA, after that and you will need EAD or Green-card to get SSN.

You may want to read the SSN guide: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...om&page=ssn

Your profile lacks details like visa type, etc, so I am guessing K-1.

Please fill in profile details: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...rCP&CODE=01 (There is no country called N/A, and you do have some immigrations status it is NOT N/A)
