I spent about 50 dollars that I didn't intend to spend. Ordinarily, I'd say that was a bad thing but this time... it's all good. I figure I did my (small) part in countering these asinine boycotts by illegitimate aliens.

You don't have an option -- "I treated May 1 as any normal day." That's what I did.

Pretty regular day for us. Except the Mexican bakery that was closed. And it lost a couple formerly very loyal customers for much longer than one day.

Zero. I wanted to have chinese food for dinner last night but then I realised we really can't afford it right now...

Spent nothing on May 1, just stayed home and worked...but the day before spent 20 at a restaurant, 25 at Rite-Aid and 58 dollars to Fedex something to my fiance.

We just came from a weekend trip to Charleston and spent too much there. Nothing left to spend on May 1.

I patronised the cafeteria at work, which is owned and operated by a legal immigrant and his family.

We went grocery shopping and spent about $100. It just seemed like the best day out of the week to get groceries

I worked overtime on May 1 (+ being on call) so I didn't have time to spend or not to spend

I didn't vote because there wasn't really a category for me. We didn't spend anything but not because we supported the boycott and not because we didn't have it to spend. We just happened to not need to spend anything that day.

Didn't even pay attention to what day it was. Here in Hawaii, it is Lei Day... we don't give a crap about illegal immigrints here, because they couldn't afford to live here!!!
