after a long, tiring flight, I arrived here in Rhode Island tuesday night and it's freezing!!!

I am so glad I am finally with the love of my life after almost 11 months of being apart

thanks to VJ family for all the info here.

My POE was Detroit (DTW) and it was hassle free

didn't ask for my xray film, just handed them the unopened enveloped and passport and had my finger scanned and photo taken. Vjers going thru Detroit, line up at visitors lane (4,5,6) and not the immigrants' lane. And if u have a connecting flight, take the express tram to your gate because the concourses are far apart.

In my 6 days here I have yet to meet a filipino

i flew from manila to nagoya to detroit...everything went well until i got there. then northwest had problems with the flight from detroit to pvd...it got cancelled so i had to go to Ohio then to PVD. if u haven't bought ur ticket yet, dont fly NWA!!

good food but not so nice service

I'm flying Manila to HK via Cathay, then HK to Chicago, Chicago to PVD via United on April 20. My fiance had bad experience with NWA before. I hope it's not too cold anymore when I get there.

Love RI, in laws have a place in Middletown RI. Usually there for the 4th of July wekeend!, they have a great Fireworks show in Newport
