Does anyone know any good ticket websites or personal references from buying tickets from USA for an algerien/morroccan/tunisian, abroad to come to USA? Algiers- (France/Germany/Canada)- USA? Sorry for this useless topic being posted but I just wanted to put this question out incase anyone had good experiences or found it easy to buy a ticket a certain way. star_smile.gif Hopefully I'll get some responses.

I used cheaptickets.com for my flight to Amman... they have many options and they were cheaper than any other site I visited. They also had a few neat extras.. like email reminders as my trip came closer. Its worth checking out. Good luck!

http://www.cheapoair.com/

These are two sites I used to price and compare. I don't know about prices to your specific place, but that's where I found the best deals for Jordan.

i recommend lufthansa....cheapest in and out of algiers..go directly to the site........book to nyc then book a cheap statesside airline to your house electronic ticket

I have found Orbitz to be less expensive than cheapoair, air gorilla, cheaptickets, etc. Once you find the cheapest ticket on one of those sort of sites (sites that combine a bunch of airlines), be sure to check out the best individual airline's own websites for comparison--sometimes they can be cheaper, sometimes more expensive.

Good luck!

I keep looking at kayak.com and I check the box that asks them to check ultimatefares.com as well. Ultimate fares is coming up with the cheaper flight of the two sights. I also do the flexible one where it looks three days prior and three days after. Prices are through the roof right now. When I thought he'd be coming sometime in Feb I was looking at about $500 for a one way but now it's about $900! blink.gif blink.gif blink.gif The further out you book though the cheaper the flight but I don't think I have the patience after over 8 months of AP to wait another month. Plus I want him here for my operation if at all possible. Then again could be taht he's not here until summer and this is a non issue altogether. wacko.gif

No topic here is useless, actually your question is also one that we would also ask being that everyone here at one point or another is going to be traveling soon, like me smile.gif
Yes I also agree that Orbitz seem to be less expensive then others, good luck on your search

I always thought airgorilla was cheaper than all the rest until I realized that the price that you first see does not include taxes and other fees which sometimes can be as much as the airfare itself!

I just tried orbitz and it won't quote me a price from cairo to boston. It says it does not support flights originating from Cairo.

hmmm actually a lot of those websites don't do that i believe. i think travelocity is the same if i remember correctly.

correct, i ran into the same thing regarding nessa's plane ticket - there seems to be a problem with getting a flight originating from another country with orbitz ranting33va.gif

When i traveled to Egypt I use a travel agency. I got a better price then i found online. Also I was told that when he comes here he will have to buy the ticket from Egypt to here.

We searched online for what appeared to be the cheapest flights. My husband then went to a local travel agent and booked it in Morocco himself. It was a little cheaper and much easier.
