One pound of loose tea will brew around 200 cups. We pay $4 for a cup of coffee, why not $3.33 for a quality cup of tea? Mmmm, I'm imagining the taste of that cup right now...

None of my tea is quite that expensive, but I do have some that's $100 a pound (bought in 2 ounce incriments) that is for special occasions.

Milk in first!?!?!?!?!? BLASPHEMERS!

I will admit that before I lived in England, I made David a cuppa in in the microwave blush.gif
*Marilyn*
the only tea I like is Tetley Orange Pekoe Tea, the round bags good.gif ... which I can't seem to find down here... so hubby bought me a box of 216 bags when we were in Canada a few weeks ago good.gif

I pour hot water over the tea bag in my cup and let it sit for a minute or two and then I take out the tea bag and add about 3 teaspoons of sugar whistling.gif and a little cream or milk..... yum!!

I ocassionally like to drink herbal tea but I don't put milk or cream in that tongue.gif... only sugar

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Okay.

Bewley's Irish Breakfast or Nambarrie preferred.

Boil in electric kettle

2 bags in the pot - 'wet the tay' - cover pot with cozy for 5 minutes or so - remove cozy and lid - a stir or two with cheap british teaspoon - put lid back on -

Pour - 2 to 3 spoonfuls of sugar - LOTS of milk!!!!

Ah!

mmmm cream teas....When Bruce came over last year we went for a cream tea in Tintagel, the scones were soooo light you HAD to put clotted cream on them or they'd float away yes.gif He hadn't had a cream tea before and lord knows we've tried to find something similar here, but no luck so far. He did have a rather disgusting one on the flight back, the scone had the consistency of a small boulder !! Oh well, who needs teeth anyhow.....
