We dodged one of the last snows of the season. North of Chicago got hammered and were I am is just a dusting. Ibrahim saw news film of Chicago and said 'OH MY GOD' they have to now stay inside. Welcome to Illinois habibi.

So, Mr Clean did something to the kitchen floor. He is not sure what it is but it is slicker than snot! The cat ran around the corner and slid into the cabinets. I went to make coffee and almost did the splits. Walking in my kitchen now is like Bambi on ice.

Happy CATurday!!!!!!! Lucky you Jackie, we got 14 inches of snow last night. EW, thank god my dad plowed our driveway. And it started out as real wet and heavy and the last part was light. And we are all done shoveling. We shoveled at least 4 times thru out the course of yesterday into this morning. Our backs are sore. Going to Milwaukee today to pick out my new flooring yipeeeeeee. I have this telemarketer who won't stop calling me. They call at odd hours of the night and this moring woke me up at 8:59 AM. They keep calling to tell me my warranty service on my car (an old car that I don't even have anymore) is about to run out any second. I hate telemarketers who wake me up on sat morning when i don't have the kids!!!

No I didn't 'cause the kicker is that it's a recording!!! There's no real person to even talk to!!!


My mission, if I choose to accept, is to find out how my daughter can recharge her ipod on my old laptop even though her ipod stuffs is on her old pc which I'm using. If she plugged it into my old laptop now it would make her ipod empty because it's not the computer she originally downloaded the songs to. I hate ipods for this very reason!!!!!!!!!! After that I'm going to the apple store to get my youngest a nano thingie majigger that plays the videos for her birthday present. Hopefully I'll get the first mission completed so that we don't run into the same problem with the nano thingie.

Telemarketers FUN

I always wonder what to say to telemarketers to make them shut-up besides hanging up on them

ugh i have the same problem!!! my hard drive crashed on my laptop and i can't seem to plug my ipod into my new harddrive! i can't get the songs/pics off of it or add more! i need to go into the apple store to see if there is SOMETHING i can do. 4000songs and 2000pics gone is just not acceptable!!!

Bridget, if you have a play station 2 you can plug the ipod usb into the usb on the playstation. thats how i charge mine when i dont want to hook it up to the computer. i also deleted itunes off the computer and i plugged my usb in and it charged that way without having to open anything up. Good luck.

What I was not aware of is that your ipod is by default set to automatic download or something which means that everytime you plug it into a different computer you run the risk of losing everything until you go back to the original computer that you bought the songs from. There's a way to change that setting so that it doesn't do that. The instructions in the second link tell you how to download the songs from your ipod to your computer. You just have to set up your computer as one of your itunes computers first, then you should be good to go.

I also found out you can use the ipod as a spare disk! I never knew that before. (funny what you learn when you read the manual ) That will save me from buying a portable disk thingie that I was going to buy. Hope that helps!

omg i just had the best crunchy salad. I cut up one fennel bulb, some huge celery chunks, radishes, red peppers and onion and tossed it with a dressing made of olive oil, lemon juice and marmalade. YUM!!!!

I started with a different recipe and tweaked it. I have never eaten fennel bulb before but it's soooo good and sweet like candy!!!!
