We just received the advance parole document for my wife in the mail. There are two identical copies saying : I-512L, Authorization for Parole of an Alien Into the United States. Both copies have her photo on the bottom and a signature of Robert M. Cowan. I have read here that some people received three pages, one with no photograph, but we only got two. Is this normal? Also, the documents came with no instructions how to use them if we need to travel. Should we just take both pages and her passport? On the document it says that "Parole into the United States is not guaranteed." Does this mean they can deny the entry? Do we need to takle any other documents?

Thank you!

when I recievd the AP it was only 2 copies without any instructions
( I never used it to cross the boarder had my GC aproved 2-3 weeks after recieving the AP )
but when I crossed the border with the GC I brought a copy of my marriage cert with me just incase they require prove ,
so I would bring the 2 copies of the AP , a copy of the marriage cert , and passport good luck on your trip

I had two copies as well and that's what you need to bring when yu travel: Passport, 2 copies of AP and your marriage certificate in case the passport name is different than the name on the AP.

I travelled twice with AP and never had a problem, except when I only took 1 copy the first time I traveled. THe Officer at the border was very nice though and said that would happen a lot since there are no instructions how to use the papers.
So, good luck and have fun travelling!
