I have tried that DHL tracking before and even though I saw that they sent a package to USEM, it didn't really tell me that it's my papers. Have you tried calling or emailing them and ask for the date they sent your papers to Manila?

You don't really have to go straigth to your husband's location but don't you want to see your husband first before anything else? Or is he going to travel with you to see your family?

I'm sure you will find all the successful interview experiences posted here in Manila Thread... use it as your reference. Pray a lot...

You might want to always have a backup copy for the interview, although I believe all the papers you submitted to NVC will be compiled altogether and will be at USEM during your interview. I'm not 100% sure about this since I didn't take CR1/IR1 route.

Good luck!

thanks for the information, since we first met my husband never left me till now. he went back to the states before with my dad but after 4days when papa left to attend a birthday party in chicago ( california to chicago ) he bought tickets to go back here in manila. wink.gif SWEET. so we wanted to visit my dad and my sister all the 3 of us so they can see there first granddaughter. they never saw her pa since then.

just wanna try my luck on tracking. can u walk me through how to do it ?

and my additional question is im really getting confused now: wheter cr1 routes or all k visas require setting up an appointment at the embassy by calling the 1909 or 1888 no. THANKS AGAIN . godbless

I wish I could, but the thing is, it's been a long time for me and I kind of forgot it already. But here's a link that might help you:

Like I said, even if you will see some packages going to Manila, Philippines, you don't really know if it's yours, not unless you know the date when it left NVC (which you might know if you will inquire in their system). When I also did the DHL tracking, I had to know the NVC's zipcode and USEM's as well. So you see, it's kind of tricky. My suggestion is try contacting them and see if they could help you. I know it's a lot of fun tracking it, but believe me, it's not worth it. Don't you want to be surprised? whistling.gif

No offense meant but whenever you would use this smiley --> wink.gif it gives me an impression that you are smirking. I hope you don't think that that smiley is meant as winking because as far as I know, it is a smirk or a sign for being disgust, frustrated, etc.

Anyway, I'm glad to be of help **wink**

If you are trying to get the DHL "trick" to work, you go to DHL's site and choose track by reference. then input EXP 27 MAR 2008A except, put in the date that NVC said that your packet was forwarded instead of say 27 MAR, your packet was forwarded on 02/12 you'd put 12 FEB

Then make sure that the dates encapsulate that time frame plus one, so for the example of EXP 27 MAR 2008A you'd put 03/26/08 to 03/28/08 and then you should see it. Just look for the city and Country of Manila, Philippines, The. I can see that this particular packet weighs 27 lbs and departed one of their facilities at 8:02 PM and is described as diplomatic papers.
