I'm debating if I should fly down there to be with her for the interview then fly back together or just wait until she has the visa. I really want to go to the interview with her but I am worried about document verification issues that people been having, or if something happens where she is put on AR. Just trying to make up my mind...

I have been trying to contact the NSO, so I can inquire the process and if they can tell me when our papers have been sent back to USEM. I will be calling again on Sunday night and hope they are in a good mood. I will let you know what happens. If you know for sure your papers are complete, then you should be able to travel with no worries at the interview. I'm already committed to go either way.

my then fiance didnt go too but we got approved. going wont give you guarantee of "not getting into AR jail", she may and you may have to leave w/o her... wait for the visa and save your money for the tix, wedding, AOS and the rest but it is still your call... Goodluck

Being there seems to be a positive influence on the consulate officer giving the interview. But, being there or having perfect paperwork does not seem to influence being put on document verfication so far.

Hello, how did you know the DHL number and what is cenomar? Our NVC number is NML2008550xxx, which is just in front of yours and haven't received anything yet. I have check the IV Schedule website (http://203.177.135.10/ivappointment/login.asp) , which said no appointment date yet.

I suppose you dont read VJ very much. Look for the interview threads. You can probably call SLEC and see if they just assigned you an interview date since you did not call on the 19th like everyone else. If nothing, then you need to call the call center and schedule an interview date. The call center number is on the USEM website. There is nothing on the IV schedule for any one lately.

Well I just purchased my tickets. Leaving LAX at midnight April 14 and will be returning April 28. It still says on the IV website and DOS that my interview appointment is on April 16 so I will call the call center one last time to ask if they can send me confirmation for April 16. It will allow some extra time in case something happens and plus it will be my birthday.

to be honest its good that you can go with her just because for the "support" and seeing each other again... but other than that, with or without your presence, i know she will do great like most of us who went alone for the interview... she'll be fine and will do a great job trust me lol... but either way, good luck and God bless!!!
