Hey guys, wanted to start a thread for the people who have an interview scheduled during the month of April in Kingston. We want to start the cheering squad early and help you double check and give pointers for the interview. We had a great success with our March interviewees, so here goes.

We have been very lucky with our process, as you got an interview date in less than 4 months from filing! However, I am so nervous about the interview!!! I cannot stop thinking about it.

For those who have interviews on the 1st, what time is everyone scheduled? If we all have afternoon appointments we should meet for lunch before and calm our nerves!!!!

I just miss my family so much and we can't wait to be together and go forward with our lives. Pray for Marla, she thinks they are going to bring her back to just deny her, she is so nervous and thinks the worst of all situations.

That's a great idea LaPrincess, but I don't think they will be able to eat. What time is your interview so I can post it along side the dates I am tracking. I know Marlas has hers at 1230pm.

Make sure that you have all your paperwork together and organized! TRY...notice I said TRY not to be nervous! Look, the embassy people seem to have a way of knowing if you are legit or not! I believe everyone on this thread is legit...hence I see no reason to worry...you will be fine!

Do you think it would be safe to go ahead and purchase plane tickets for my wife and step-daughter? Their 2nd interview is on Apr 24th and I planned on buying tickets for may 9th.

Don't do it wait until 04/24 make sure they get that visa first. Plus you don't know how long it's going to take for the visa to be issued.

Jason I agree with Dimps. I know you can't wait, but try my dear. It will be better in the end.

Hey you all

Just wanted to share my joy with you all. I just got back from the embassy and i am happy to say my visa was approved I will now be wating on the arrival from air pak. I am hoping to leave around the 11th of April. I am so overwhelmed. I finally get to be with my baby

word of advise to those going to the interview; do not take any lotion, perfume, umbrella, sharp objects or electrical appliance. If your partner can make it, let the attend the interview. it is so much easier with them there. I had all my evidence there and the interviewer did not ask to see any of it. She was pleasant and friendly. I must say i was so nervous before i got to the window but once the interview was on the way i was so relaxed because i was telling her about the love of my life so i was very comfortable, so be confident relax and enjoy.

You all have played a huge part in this. I have been reading the portals and following the instructions on the site. I had absolutley no problems, there was no request for additional informaiton or delays with the case except for the three month between my file reaching Kingston and my appointment.

Has anyone heard from Laprincess?

Please pray for Marla and her family, she unexpectantly lost her grandmother yesterday and she is very upset. Marla was very close to her grandmother and her grandmother was the only person that she did not want to move away from.

Now I thank God for not letting Marla come to America 2 weeks ago and post-poning her visa approval. I am glad she is at home with her family during this time.
