Alright I know its probably still early for me to worry about but, Belarus has cut of relations with pretty much every nation in the world, especially it's neighbooring countries. My wifes interview supposebly is going to be held in Warsaw Poland. Now, my first question....Is she allowed to come back into Belarus from Poland after the interview, or she is suppose to leave from Poland to the States?? Second question, now it is very hard to open a visa from belarus to any other neighbooring countries, My wife has never been to Poland before and she has no one that could help her out over there either, do you guys think that they will open a visa for one of her parents to go along with her?? Because if not then i dont know what we will do, i sure dont want her going by herself, especially if she has to leave straight from there. Well let me know what you guys think, because I think my next step is getting on the phone with Poland Embassy in Belarus and asking them. Thasks for all of your time and feedback.

Your wife will need a visa to enter Poland for the interview in Warsaw. To be honest, the chances of one of her family members getting a visa just to go accompany her are very slim. Most likely, she'll have to go alone. I don't think its as bad of a trip as you are making it out to be. She can take a train to Warsaw, the train station is not far away from the Embassy.

She does not have to go straight to the US from Poland. She can return to Belarus and pack and take her time to plan when she wants to come to the US.

If you are real nervous about her traveling alone, perhaps you as the USC can go with her smile.gif

I know there's people in the Russia forum who actually have belarusian spouses/fiances.

I think the best option is for you to go to poland, too. It's really weird that they're making her go to poland and not moscow, since russia and belarus DO have good relations and you don't need a visa to go to Russia if you're a Belarusian citizen.

I don't see why she wouldn't be able to go back to Belarus, though.
