How you know when the embassy has your stuff?if they are not sending out the packet anymore i dont want to wast any 18$ call to find out that?

I am not sure if it still works because there seems to be a lot of changes in the process lately but Joe and I called the Department of State and it was them who informed us that our petition has reached the Manila embassy. We called DOS two weeks after the NVC sent our petition.

when mine got to nvc I sent them an email asking for a status report on my case and about a week later they replied they forwarded it to the embassy.
