Hi All,

I couldn't seem to find a compete checklist needed to petition a parent (mother in particular) for a USC.

The documents that I only know needed are the following:

1. I-130 Form
2. USC Birth Cert.
3. Mother's Birth Cert.
4. US Passport
5. Bank check

I'm not sure if I need to include the following on my checklist:(Pls. help me on this)

1. G-325 or G-325A (Do I need my parent's signature here?)
2. Passport pictures
3. Marriage cert.
4. Decrees, death certs. etc. (of the mother's spouse)

I hope you'll shed me some light on this...as this may also be beneficial to those who are here for the 1st time around, just like me:)

Thanks in advance for your replies!

Justin

Read the I-130 instructios..it will tell you what you need to submit.

I just did file the petition for my mother, your check list is fine, but NO need of the G-325 or G-325A for parents' petition.
Good luck!

Do I need her passport pictures and mine? How about her marriage documents and her birth cert. as well?

Thank you so much. I hope you can show your timeline.

Thanks.

Yes, you need to send her Birth certificate, no pictures are needed at this point of process, I didn't include my mother's marriage certificate, it's not needed.
