Mine is on 22nd of April.

I have a few quesitons:

1. When is the right time to pay for the Document Verification?
2. Getting a medical appointment 2 weeks prior to the interview, is it considered an early medical appointment? Should I prepare for the request or it is given at St. Lukes?
3. Is it ok to have medical during menstration?
4. Forms DS-156 and DS-157, does it have to be printed out on the computer? or handwritten?

1. Pay for doc verification as soon as you have your Manila Case Number.

2. You can have your medical exam done anytime from 4 weeks to 1 week before the embassy interview. There is no "appointment" required. Just show up with required documents to SLEC. They handle all patients that come on a given day on a first come first serve basis. There really are no specific "appointment times".

3. No. You should plan to have your medical exam at a time when you are not having your period.

4. Computer. Also dont forget about 156K also it you are filing for a K visa.

My dates seem so close to yours. The letter I received from NVC is dated 02/22/08, which stated within a week it will be forwarded to Manila and my Case is NNL2008550xxx, but my girl or I haven't received any thing yet.

i have not received any thing yet but my husband was advised by a letter from the nvc that they have forwarded my papers in the embassy here with case number MNL2008xxxxxx on the later dates of february.

what i did was to make a call on their call center on the first week of march but the agent said that the embassy is still verifying my papers. on the 19th, after reading that the embassy has a new procedure for applicants, i called up their call center and was so happy to learn from the agent that i was eligible for an interview and right there and then chose a date to do that. you don't have to wait for a packet .... make that phone call now.

i have an april 22 appointment.

hoping to be on this list come monday. have my MNL# and will call monday and hopefully have an april interview. But..... My fiancee and her cousin Marin will hit Manila early monday to see if her ID/PASSPORT worries...... are just worries...... or if it will be a long process....... I suppose it will prevent me from scheduling until she has a idea her PASSPORT will be in her hand.

I'm one of those who are scheduled for April 22, 2008 Interview at USEM. I thought I should wait for my packet but it's good thing I called them and they informed me that I already have a schedule for Interview The girl was so friendly and she emailed me my Confirmation number and Apoointment Letter so I can show it to the St. Lukes. She said I should have my PE one week before my interview. Now, I'm getting nervous.

Yes, the MNL2008XXXYYY number is the manila embassy case number.

my interview date is on 21st of april

does that also apply for cr1 visas too? as soon as you get your MNL case no. we can pay metrobank for delbros verification ( NSO verification )? how did you get the appointment for advanced medical if in case the Manila-US embassy wont work, no packets yet. and the case was already completed at NVC. any help is highly appreciated thanks

I called last night and like many others we have a interview scheduled of April 22 7:30 am


My Fiancee was able to get her postal ID and her police clearance today. She has to get a transcript of some type. She tells me that getting the PASSPORT will be no problem..

But, I was reading that she has to have the passport the day of the Medical (a week before the interview) or when she goes to pick up the results? so does my fiancee have to pick up the results and take to the interview?

can some one clarify this?

Did you call today? I took your advice and called today and received an interview date of April 23rd. I just text ShaSha and she replied from class and was kinda scared and nervous. Isnt it amazing how we all wait for this date then get nervous when the date arrives. She is so cute, I love her so much

COngrats on getting your interview schedule! This is to confirm that she will need her new passport when she goes for the Medical Exam at SLEC. SLEC will not give her the results. They forward those results, along with her Passport directly to the US Embassy. She will receive her XRAY Film (which she does NOT need to bring to the embassy interview), a receipt for payment of the SLEC Medical Exam Fee and the Form DS-3025 VACCINATION DOCUMENTATION WORKSHEET. Don't loose this vaccination form as you will need it for AOS later. She will NOT get a copy of her specific test results.

I finished my first day of my early medical exam yesterday and they told me to come back today.

yeah u can call the embassy using ur cellphone if ur calling from states....

You can also call directly to the embassy using your cell or land line if calling from WITHIN the Philippines. If inside the philippines, the number is 02-301-2000 , hit #7 then enter 5184# for the correct extension. This is a way to talk to a live person there who can give you info, etc. Note, becuase of recent changes to the process, they will no longer give you an appointment on this line. You have to follow the new process.

There is no voice mail, if they are on the phone, you will get a recorded message to try again. The number is always busy, not uncommon to have to try 10 or 20 times to get through. Of course, sometimes the timing is good and you get through right away...just depends on the workload at that minute.

We finally got our interview date of April 23rd then I had to call and change it because I chose a date the first time that wasnt good for my fiancee. Does anyone have a interview date on April 29th? I have been to the Philippines 3 times in 10 months and didnt think our interview would have happen so quick or I wouldnt have went to see my fiancee in Feb 2008. I might not be able to make it back for her interview in such a short time from just going there. It would be great if a few of us could get our fiancee's together so they are safe when waiting outside the Embassy at such a early time of day.

I paid my Interview fee (april 23 interview date) at BPI and they gave me a DS-157 form with stamp from the USEM at the back, will i just sign it handwritten and pass it along with other DS form? My interview date is APRIL 23 also 7:30 am...and i plan to have my medical next week WED and THUR. I download letter of instruction from the USEM link and print my appointment letter which was sent to me by emails after i called them to schedule my interview.

2. Passport
3. Medical fee (dun na din babayaran di ba?)
4. Appoinment letter (printed through emails)

My fiance' interveiw is April 24, plan to do medical on April 14.

Well our interview was April 22nd. But for some reason the embassy also scheduled us one for April 16th. When I asked the call center they said that I had 2 appointments set up and I can go to either one. So we are choosing April 16th.
