Our interview was on Thursday, March 13 and we were told that we could not pickup our visa beacuse of the upcoming Holy Week holiday. On Monday the 17th we went back to the Embassy and they told us our visa was printed on Friday the 14th and should be released to Delbros today (Monday). We texted Delbros Monday about 6pm and they told us they had our visa. It was delivered to us at the Cherry Blossoms hotel at 8:30am on Tuesady the 18th.
What an exciting moment it was for us...we were so happy! We were dancing around our hotel room like we won the lottery
So we rushed off to the CFO to get her passport validated and had that done by 11am.
We leave for home today and our new life. I'll write a post about our POE after we get home. Looking back I must say that the 6 months since we filed in September really seemed slow at the time, but now seems like if flew by. I don't know what I am going to do with that extra 4 hours a day I wont be spending chatting on Yahoo. I almost feel sorry for my webcam because it will surely be lonely now.
I really can't say thanks enough to VJ and all of you here who give information, advice and a place to express not just our frustrations but also our hopes and dreams.
Good luck to everybody who is still on the journey!
