I called the automated message center today and heard "...NVC has received the DS3032, Choice of Agent and Address form on______.
and will send further instructions within the next few weeks..."
I assume this means they have also gotten my $70 fee for the AOS form. Is this correct?
If so, I wonder if i should go with the James shortcut strategy or just wait for the 864 form in the snail mail? In the instructions for the shortcut, it seems that creating my own bar code cover sheet and sending it in with my 864 and supporting docs will not really save me any time because i have to wait for the bill for the IVF and so forth. Again, do I have this correct?
Looking for advice and guidance. Thanks!

no you dont have to wait for i v bill to send in 864 go ahead andcreat your bar code cover sheet and send it off
the iv bill you do have to wait to be able to send in because on the random number added after case number but you can do the short cut fron 864 and ds 230. bar code and over night the packets will save you about 4 weeks
good luck

I got the same message, but they did not received money yet.
the message just says , we received your ds 3032 it doesn't say anything about money
anyway, since I have same question does it mean that we can send I-864 after they receive the AOS payment?
we don't have to wait until they tell us to do so?
am i right?

normally that is the sign to send i864 in. if you wait it take you abou 2-4 weeks. if you unsure call ask operator if your i864 generate.

They received our AOS fee payment on March 3. However, they just generated our I-864 package on 3/17. I would advise NOT sending in anything until the form has been generated or else this could delay your case. Our case was never updated with this fact. I had to call them and ask if the I-864 package had been generated and she said yes and gave me the date.
