I think she had no idea what was she talking about.......unless you talk or get transfered to a real immigration officer at your center....hten anything these front line people say is just talk, they have no clue.....

The vermont service center has been so fast lately i have seen people get petitions approved in under 2 months! So it would not surprise me if you got something in the next 2 weeks!

Your statement is true for the K1, but for k3 and I-130 they have not processed much for the past month or so.

Has anyone from VSC received any touches yet since they were able to see there cases online?? I've seen here that a lot of people from VSC were able to see there cases since Feb 24 who probably filed after Oct...have any of you guys received a "touch" after that...i'm getting so annoyed now...this is taking way too long at this stage...

But, both I-129F (K3) have had touches for me

I had 2 touches on my I-130.I also sent I-129F but haven't received NOA1 for it yet.Very strange.I don't know what's going on with VSC.

Hey jeca i recomend you to call USCIS, telle them that you havent received your NOA1 for your I-129F (K3)
they will ask you if you have a pending I130 case & will ask you for the case number (this has to be with and USCIS official, you have to be transfered)

I had that situation, since i didnt have proof of my pending I-130 until January 29th 2008, but the case wasnt on system
until the 24th of February 2008, i called next day the 25th February and realized that they had sent my I129F NOA to an incomplete address
on December 4th 2007, i asked the official to make the corrections.

Thanx, I will tell my husband to call them and ask what is going on.

We are also September fillers to VSC, we got RFE January first week. completed January 31 and was recognized by USCIS. Just today March 18th, we got a notice that we are approved!!! after a long long wait. Thanks God!!!

Same here.. haven't been touched since Feb 24 update at VSC. They gotta be working on the k-1's.. let's hope that they will start again with the I-130's from late aug thru nov. Comeon

No touches either! Did you guys see a February filer got approved. Used RFE trick to get the Vermont Service Center and the B was like hang up and call the 800 number and speak to a Rep at USCIS, and she hung-up on me!

Seemes that they are catching on to the RFE "trick". They are bound to get to us soon.. i dont see too many sept filers .. so my guess is they are working on sept.. why so slow? Im thinking mostly they have been processing k-1's, and they will be back to us again any moment?

Well i am off to see me hubby in Jamaica on Sunday and will be there for the whole week...which i have been longing for since the last time I saw him which was in December...I hope by the time I get back I see some VSC approvals and see that mine is approved as well...all this flying is causing a dent in my pockets but its well worth it...

The best way to wait for this approval is next to one's hubby!! Enjoy.. have a wonderful time and forget about this deal for the time u are together. You will be back to a good surprise I hope.

Got touched in four days after they received the request for evidence, and they keep on molesting us every day - so they are doing something there, what it is I dont know.
