Hi Everyone,
My nephew has been accepted in a university here in the United States. The problem is the American Embassy in Nigeria keeps denying his visa saying he has no proof that he will return to Nigeria when his education is finished. What kind of proof can he get proving he wants to get a US education and then return home? He is 20 years old so he has no wife or children. Please any advice is appreciated. Everything is taken care of except for his visa. helpsmilie.gif

Nigeria tends to be a country that demands more proof of ties to home. Many can't come up with the proof. Do you know anyone that came here on an educational visa ??

Maybe you could try calling the universuty and asking them what they suggest. I am sure that their international student office can give you some ideas.

Good luck.
