Am looking to ship extra luggage that my spouse brought to the US but had to drop off at a friend's place.

Depends how much you want to spend, and how quickly you want it.

FedEx, UPS and other express carriers will be fast, but expensive.

You can find shipping companies that do less than a container load shipments by boat. Its cheaper but it can take 4-8 weeks.
