Hi everyone,

I haven't been on this forum for a looong time blush.gif
My wife filed for removal of conditional status on June 07 and, since it's almost a year, I told myself "let's go on VJ and check what are the latest news" and... WOW what a mess with Nebraska! crying.gif
I tried to read as many posts as I could but I'd like to ask a couple of questions and make sure I understand.
So, bottom line, Nebraska is way behind and there is no way to understand what they are working/not working on.

My wife's I-797C states that her GC is extended for one year from date of expiration of her GC. That means that we're good until 9/08. In the case that nothing happens in the next few months, when should I schedule my info-pass and go to my local (Seattle) USCIS? Is it a few weeks before the expiration or what?

Second question: I see many cases are being transferred to other Service Centers. Considering that we filed in June 07 and have not been transferred yet, should I expect not to be transferred at all, or do they usually transfer cases just a few months before your expiration?

Anything else I should keep in mind while the expiration date gets closer? blink.gif

Thanks to all of you and good luck with your applications! kicking.gif

Yes, infopass. I would try and definately make that appointment close to the date the NOA expires. Make it early to ensure that. You can always cancel if a miracle happens.

I'd say if they haven't transferred you by now, it won't happen.
