Hey you all....Who fills out the DS-30 (is it the beneficicary or the applicant??)

Im a bit confused....i was told by NVC this morning that they will be sending out info regarding this form but wanted to go ahead and fill out ahead of time.

Isn't the DS 230 a visa application? Never heard of a DS 30. Guess who fills out the visa application.

Hint, the beneficiary IS the visa applicant. The USC is the "Petitioner".

DS-230 is filled out by beneficiary, it is the immigrant visa application.

The petitioner can help fill it out, but the beneficiary has to sign part 1, and leave part 2 un-signed, they will sign it later at the visa interview.

Hi , What I did is fill out the pdf DS-230,
e-mail to my wife, she printed out and signed
and then mailed to me by EMS.

I haven’t received my NOA2 yet but i am hoping I will soon!
Anyway, I'm leaving in about a week to visit my husband, should I take the DS3032 and DS230 with me for him to sign so I have it handy once we do get approved and then forwarded to the NVC?

yes you should do that.
the early to get your form prepare the better when u received letter from NVC and send them back
