Hello Everyone! My Russian Fiance is about to move to the USA! She is very smart and has lots of school credits from Russia good.gif So my question is when she goes to a University in the USA does she have to start in the begginning clases even though she should be at a fourth or fifth level over there? Can she take a test and see what classes she should be taking?

it depends on college's policy
you have to contact college to find out how it woks and what she needs to bring from the college she studied in Russia including all classes hours and grades it has to be translated and probably notirized
good luck

She needs to make an appointment with a school counselor and he/she will be able to tell her what courses she needs to take in order to get her degree. She also needs to be evaluated for English and take her TOEFL exam as well.

Simplest answer....call the school she will probably attend and ask. They may have specific things they require. And don't overlook the possibility of CLEP'ing subjects if somethings don't transfer when she gets here. OOHHH, ask what documents they require for her to attend school. Might be important..
Good luck
