should it be hand carried? is it one of the docs needed in the POE to be presented to the immigration officer? blink.gif

From everything I read, the x-ray is not needed at the POE, but it is recommended to have it in your carry-on along with the brown envelope, just on the rare chance it is asked for.

good.gif My POE was San Francisco and they wanted to see it. I placed it inside the box where my wedding gown was which I hand carried so I had easy access. Goodluck.

We came through the Los Angeles POE about 8 hours ago and they did not ask for the X-Ray and didn't ask any questions at all. Just opened the visa packet , stamped the papers, wrote the 90 day timeline on the visa, handed the passports back and said thank you. Super Simple.

Anyone who enters in LAX, make sure to proceed to Immigration lines 1, 2 or 3. We waited 1 1/2 hours and got half way through in line 6 before I went to ask if we are in the right place sad.gif (lines 6 - 9 are for visitor entry)

But we made it . . . here happy in the house now!

Hi Sis,
My POE was in SFO but they never asked for my xray. I rolled it inside my carry on bag but it should not be fold. We took iy out from the bag before we landed and carried till we got to the immig. It depends on the immig. officer i guess.
