Hey everyone,
I think I just received my advance parole paperwork, but it is not what I was expecting.
I have two identical pages, with form number I-512L. Is this the right advance parole document? I was expecting 3 identical pages (that's what I've seen other people say they get).
If these are the right papers, how do I use them?
Thanks for any help!!
I only received 2 pages as well. I have yet to see people reporting they got three?
I presented my Advanced Parole documents when I went through the checkpoint at JFK (this was before Halifax got their POE). Since my passport and tickets were in my maiden name, I took along a certified copy of my marriage certificate. This was sufficient for the officer. Now that all Canadian International airports have POEs, you just present your documents to the officer, your passport will get a stamp, one of the AP pages will get stamped and returned to you, and usually they keep the other copy (depends on the officer).
