Hello all

I want to first say congrats to all who have their visas and good luck to all who are about to go on interviews i.e 03/17 and 03/20 and any others for the month of march. (Sorry not very good at info gathering).

I have questions that have been bothering me for a while........ well here it goes...... At this time I am unable to fully support my hubby due to unexpected financial difficulty. I have asked my cuz who makes above the poverty level to assist, and he agreed.

1 Does the embassy keep the finacial info sent to them if they ask for it?
2 Do I fill out the I134 stating that I do not make above povety level or leave it blank?
3 If I happen to make more money at a later date/ closer to the interview date, do I need to fill out new forms?

Thanks for any helpful responses.

1 Does the embassy keep the finacial info sent to them if they ask for it? I believe the embassy keeps all the information that is given to them.

2 Do I fill out the I134 stating that I do not make above povety level or leave it blank? You need to fill one out as you are the primary sponsor and then your cosponsor would fill one out.

3 If I happen to make more money at a later date/ closer to the interview date, do I need to fill out new forms? If you do then I would update the forms, especially if it shows you making more than the poverty guidelines. You could also add some recent paystubs and an employment letter to help back it up. I would still have a cosponsor if the increase was only like a couple of weeks before the interview (just in case they ask for one then you will be prepared smile.gif )

Thanks for any helpful responses.

Thanks Girl for a quick response, you are really a great person.

Now this brings me to another question-
can I send photocopies of all thinformation to him? I do not want to take the chnace that something gets lost.
Zee Bee
You can send copies but the I-134 and probably the letter of employment need to have original signatures.

Thanks again....... as the time draws close it seems unreal that we could see each other soon (God permitting).

I can only imagine your jiters as Monday draws near.........

I wonder has anyone added to "the interview update stories" that Missy started sometime last year....... I think it would be helpful for those like myslef that come up with 1million and 1 questions LOL
