i called yesturday...and NVC just told me that i was not scheduled for MARCH....they told me to call back next friday maybe they have an update....hopefully i was be scheduled for APRIL!

Thatz what NVC told me, maybe next week! Lets hope so!

I called them pretty much every day last week and they didn't schedule mine, neither this Monday.
I will give it an other try on Friday, are they open since it's here Good Friday and a lot of things are closed.....

STILL NOTHING...i will call back on friday also

try thursday friday i dont think they dont work. well they dont work all week but there not in the building on friday. hehehhe

Hey that what they told us to in South Africa...Wehave been calling everyday since 2/13/08...and told to call back...they have all our paper work BUT they claim that they do not have the schedual from the NVS/DOS to give out any appointments for April and that March to booked.....GOING CRAZY!!!!

I was just wondering guys if any of you in this thread filed for 129-F ? I just got the approval for both 130 and 129-F today, and i dont know which of the two the NVC will process.. I hope the K3, since its quicker than Ir-130.. Is there any way how i will know what they will first process between the two?

We are also waiting for them to scheduled an interview for my children ..Our case was completed on the 4th this month...We were told to call back next month He said that they are not scheduling interview anymore for this month..I am thinking that maybe this applies for Ryiadh embassy only...i dont know
Anyway i will call them back after Easter

I called yesterday and the Lady told me Im not in for March or April...I almost cried what a BUMMER! i have to keep waiting....but im still hopeful for an interview in April!! lol...If not hopefully early MAY!!


the lady said to call back at the end of each week....

the way the NVC schedules interviews i really weired... i think it goes embassy by embassy....because i see that people form some embassies get their interview dates scheduled at the beginning or even middle of each month not necessarily the end or third week of the month.. im not sure though...the system is screwed up anyways!


for all of us who are waiting i would suggest call every friday.... to ask the status of our case...

I think NVC doesn't even have a system in how to schedule interviews, it all depends on the consular or embassy capacity for each month.
In our case our interview was scheduled the fist week of the month and to be hones with you they told over and over to call back in a week but I refused to follow their their advise and just to call everyday,sometimes twice a day, on the fifth of dec. I called in the morning and they told to call back in week,later that day I called back and they already had an interview date for us.
Stay strong and continue calling you until they give you a date.

YES........FINALLY YESTERDAY>>>>We called just after 4pm SA Time and they just got the schedual book for April and we got April 1St.......They are closed for Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Monday....I would suggest you call next Tuesday !!!!!!!!

Was your interview scheduled by the embassy or NVC?

I'm another one that still does not have an interview scheduled, I called NVC yesterday.

I just called them since they will be closed tomorrow. I was told they are done scheduling for April and to call back the 3rd week of April to find out if we have an interview date for May because they schedule interviews during the second week of the month.

it said 131.00 american dollars on the instructions but as you all know what they say and what they want are 2 different things...he just needs to know how much to bring

it was exactly 10 months before i saw my husband recently
it is not easy and now i am home again after a mere 20 days but even tho he has his interview coming, nothing is a guarantee, we are just praying for YES!

I was told the same story when I called yesterday. Done with the scheduling for March and to call back in April. This was around 4 pm in Europe. About 12 hours later my husband called me that we got an interviewdate set for May 6th! I really don't know what to believe now, but if it's true I hope this will happen to you too!

My case assigned to New delhi(Even i belong to Gujarat).as we didnt mensioned consulate in I-130/G-325A form.

Last week when we call NVC they told us that they have finished with scheduling interview ..to call back next month
Well...we called again today and finally we got an interview for MAY 19 th..so my advice to u is call them again... no matter what they told u..

Looking at the last few posts, the interview dates generally seem to be about 2 months after approval. Does anyone know whether the dates depend on which consulate you are going to for your interview (ie. the interview date depends on the consulate's schedule) or whether it depends on NVC's schedule?

It depends on the embassy schedule...the only thing the NVC does it schedule the appt...and im sure hte NVC wants to schedule ASAP to get the paperwork off their hands..!

I was told too that the NVC schedules the interview for my country, but when I called the woman said no that Ankara will schedule and then gave me the number to Turkey. Anyone know what that is about??

I think that the interview dates are assigned depending on the sonsulate's schedule, even though NVC schedules them. You must remember that the consulates handle more than just the applications coming from the US. They handle visas for other categories that are country-based like visitors's, work etc.

Hello All,

Interview scheduled for May 11th .

Case was completed on Feb 25th . Since it was completed late in Feb , no interviews was scheduled in Feb for March .

March came around and I called on 20th to be told NO interview was scheduled for april or whenever.When pushed - the operator said the "embassy's quota was fulfilled" and to call back in 3rd week of April .


Called a week later 3/27/08 and the system said "case was forwarded to embassy" ...after speaking to a operator was told they schedule it for May 11th .

I would not have bothered calling NVC if I hadnt seen this thread in VJ about NVC telling ppl to call in April when they actually have scheduled something. SO A HUGE THANKS to all you good folks on VJ :-) .

I called NVC today and they told me to call back in third week of April (should be second but they are running late with scheduling). Oh well, three more weeks is nothing comparing with 9 months since me and my husband start this journey.
