did the letter you received from the NVC tell you how to go about getting your medicals??

im just curiouse on how our spouses go get their medicals done for the intreview.....

Interview letter mention a website link. If you would go to your local US consulate website > immigration visas > you should be able to get panel of approved doctors to conduct medical examination.

Here is list of approved doctors for El Salvador, you should call anyone who is near to you and enquire about examination, vaccinations and how much they cost...

March NVC completed cases gets to be interviewed on May? Whew!!!

Anyways, congrats to all those who have received dates of interviews....

As for us, we are still waiting....got our case completed March 7 and no word until now...but we keep on calling to follow up

Please help in praying for the faster processing of all us applicants. The nearer everything is to completion, the more anxious everyone is...

Found the letter from NVC in my mailbox last night when I arrived home. The interview for my wife is scheduled at the San Jose Embassy on May 30th! I can't believe we are so close.

whom do you have in Bosnia!

Lot of relatives from my dad side. Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Prijedor, Bosanska Dubica, lot of cousins, haven`t see them for almost 20 years, since the war start.

Anybody know how busy is the new delhi embassy in INDIA. I sent DS-230 on april 2, it was logged into NVC's system on april 7.........still waiting for case complete.........hopefully should hear case complete by at least the fourth week of april.....when can i expect the interview date to be in new delhi INDIA?

Hey!!!you already got your letter? My hubby's interview is on May 6th and no letter has yet been received. When was your letter generated and what is the postmark on the envelope? I am trying to figure where mine is since they told me it was mailed on 3/24 but that might have been the day it was generated and not the date it was mailed.

Have you guys scheduled the medical as yet? Mike scheduled his for 4/16. I emailed the embassy and got a reply that he can pick up a duplicate packet 4 on 4/17 if he does not receive it on time.

Hey guys, got the packet #4 today in the mail. It was generated on 3/24 but not mailed out until 4/7. Hope that gives you guys that are waiting on your packet some hope that it will come soon. We can't always go by the generation dates.

Now I have to scramble to get it to him before his medical next week Thursday. I am going to send it to him tomorrow via DHL hoping they will get it there in time.

We called the doctor and he was really nice...he said don't make the appt until the letter arrives...but he said that he normally has next day appointments and its not a big deal **i guess hes not too busy**....we still have 3 weeks until our interview so i will wait another week or so.

you can fax or email the letter to your spouse then your not so rushed!

Our case was completed on March 25th, so far no interview date schedule(second week of April). NVC told me I might not gonna receive interview date this month, depend of capacity of embassy. Is that possible, do I have to wait until next month?

Is there another number besides the 603 334 0700 to call for interview dates?

if your embassy is an appointment post...then no...the only other option is emai---but thats even worse than calling


just keep calling the NVC every friday and speak to a live operator *thats the KEY*

ohh by the way guys i got my interview letter yesterday YAY!!!!!!!

Hey guys, I got the interview letter on Thursday evening and sent it DHL to JA hoping that it gets to him by Tuesday the latest. I also faxed a copy of the contents to him and he has that just in case.

Hoping that all who are waiting for an interview date/letter gets it soon and wish for a successful end to the process.

congrats everyone on cases completed and interwiev schedules i have blessed time with my hubby now . we are traveling around germany and france.
i have got already packet 4 from nvc, but we call ambassy and asked to rescheduel interview for ealier date, good luck again everyone

Don't go by what they say. They told me one time to call back the third week of April, the next time they told me our interview was May 13, and a few days later I got the appointment letter in the mail saying the interview is April 16. Who knows what they're doing sometimes.

Thanks for the good wishes for the interview tomorrow guys! I took off work today and tomorrow b/c the waiting for the interview is driving me nuts. My husband had his medical yesterday in Bucharest and it went okay so he is all set for tomorrow! I'll post how the interview went in the CR-1/IR-1 forum!

I am so excited guys, I got my appointment letter today and I booked a flight to Lima, Peru on May 27th.

correction date, instead 27th-its 24th, well our first anniversary is on May 25th.
