I am waiting........ We have both I-130 and I-129F out for Security checks and I am not sure which would be faster at the Embassy in Lebanon!?!?!? Does anyone have any Idea? My husband and I just want to be together faster but if both petitions are taking the same amount of time at NVC then wouldn't I-130 be best? I am a bit confused now wacko.gif

If anyone has any information that would help!!

Thank you

Nita

Nita,

I am sorry that I can't help you...But it seems like your case is taking extra long in the NVC...

Can anyone give some insight who knows a little more...

I think the i 129f is suppose to be maybe a couple months faster, but then they cant work right away when they do get here and it costs alot more too. I kinda wished I had just done the I 130. I cant believe you havent got a N02 yet?? Thats unreal. I would have a congressman or senator help me and find out what in the world is going on. It must be hitting on something in his name or something crazy. Have a Congressman call. Most of the time the I 130 takes no more than 6 months to get approved and then shipped out to the embassy for the interview. Most ppl have the wait at the embassy level after the interview. Maybe just plan a visit to him to help you through it. Good luck

I have everyone from the Vice president, congressman, senators, USCIS director looking into my case, but my congressman told me yesterday because of our common last name we are most Likely be in secruity checks for both petitions for about 6 months because USCIS usually double checks and triple checks to make sure of everything. This is why I am asking about the time difference, USCIS had cancelled my I-129F (K-3 Visa) but I asked if they can be re-open it because my husband is dealing with Terrible violence in his country and I can't even go see him because it's not safe sad.gif I had planned a trip to see him but had to cancel my trip last mintue... My Husband and I just want to be together sooner then later and start our family. I don't want to wait another year to be without him, it's been 2 years already crying.gif

I130 would definitely be the way to go if both petitions are approved at same time. Wishing you luck for a speedy process.
