Hi everyone

I am hoping someone can help me with advice about this situation.
Last april my Sister filed I-130 for me and I know that can take a few years before I get the visa. My question is can I apply for a B2 tourist visa at the same time. yes I am from a visa waiver country but I want to spend time living with my boyfriend before we make the commitment to marriage. I would appreciate anyones comments or advice.

Maybe, if you are retired.

Otherwise the chances of a B2 from a VWP country are slim to nil. More the boyfriend and how would you show non immigrant intent.

B-2s are not for living in the US.
AND you have an I-130 filed on your behalf.
AND a USC boyfriend.

Doesn't add up to very good odds, but you can not be approved if you do not apply.
