My name is Mitchel, and I met my amazing Latina girlfriend 4 years ago in something called Palace Chat. It took us no time at all to fall in love, we met (online) in April 2004 and were already sending lovey emails by late May/early June.

Before I met her I didn't believe in soulmates, but the journey of our relationship has convinced me that there really is someone special out there for everyone, and I'm lucky enough to have found her!

We talked for the first time on the 27th of July that same year, and it just felt so comfortable, and so right. After about 3 years of emails and phone calls, I made the trip to NYC and spent 6 weeks with her. They were the best 6 weeks of my life! The flight was nerve racking, I kept thinking "God, what if it's weird in person? What if she gets tired of me?" Lol, but my fears were put to rest almost the 2nd I saw her at the arrivals gate, and we shared the biggest hug ever!

We're always talking about marriage now, it's almost like we're unofficial Husband and Wife, but that will all be confirmed when I finally get my Visa. This process will be stressful for the both of us, and my Mum hasn't made things any easier, but once I arrive at JFK again and know that I'll never have to leave her again, I'll be reminded that it was all worth it! (Not that I need reminding)

I wish everyone the best with their Visas, because we all know just how hard this can be. Please pray for Delilah and I, and help us complete our fairytale.
