I give Him praises and thanks for Bridget's news! I always call her name out to God and ask for the visa to be issued, along with so many others here who wait and when I see the results of these prayers being answered, I get all excited and tingly...not for myself, but for Him who gets the glory for just being who He is. That is why I can say I am blessed and content.

Me tooooo! I have lots of names in my duas, Jennifer and Bridget are the first two names that always come out of my mouth. Now pleeease Allah help Jennifer (AJ1), bless her and give her the patience and give her fiance the opportunity to go to her and make her happy too. Move the hearts of the Consular Officers, Embassy, DOS, Senators so they may understand what she is going through and feeling right now, insha Allah and Ameen. And extend this prayer to everyone who needs it, Ameen.

Bridget, Egypt Air (buying directly from the site of Egypt Air) has fares to New York for $510.16. I checked yesterday and i think it's a standard price cause I checked many dates and came up with the same price. You can check that out and then check out for the other ticket from NY to the state you live in, and I'm sure you can find out good deals on that, just remember to give him plenty of time to board that other plane.

lol I just looked on airgorilla for Fri and it's like waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over $1k so that's not happenin'. I tried to look on egyptair but that site works horrible. I'll try again later. Heck I'll drive to NYC to get that man if I have to!!!! It's only like a 3 1/2 hour drive for me, though he'd probably be pooped.

If you can drive to New York that would be perfect, and when you come on messenger (if you do LOL), i'll be on today until 2:30pm and I'll give you the site that works insha Allah. My question though, well yours is a K3 so i think one way is good. But for K1's do we have to get round trip tickets, do you or anybody else knows?

I've heard both in the past so hopefully some of the newer K-1's can pipe in to see what the latest is.

I just checked on egyptair and the cheapest for all of next week (nothing avail until monday) is well over $1k. I can't get on messenger until night since it's a BIG no no here.

anyways my mind is SPINNING right now. So ok maybe he won't be here as soon as friday but still next week would seriously ROCK!!!!! I need coffee to digest all of this!!!

We have an awesome God and I am so greatful that He is hearing the many prayers that are being said by others for others and it is bringing Him such joy. Today was a special day (drum roll.......) I wore my pre-baby jeans (with a zip and everything) for the first time in MONTHS. and I didnt have to lay down to zip them up! Wooooot!

I've missed you all--haven't been on here in a while...I was sooooooooo excited to see the new visas in hand...and I CANNOT wait to see Visas in Hand going down every list we've got going on here...It feels just as amazing hearing from you all as it did when i heard it..

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their day...I've been super busy with school and preparing for my husband's arrival...almost 2 months with the visa and we're still not together--we just didn't expect that he would receive the visa so soon and he needed some time to take care of work and all that...now he's packing his life into 2 bags and preparing for travel...he'll be here, hopefully on april 5th, inshaaaa allah...

Bridget, we looked at tickets online and for some reason, they came out to about $500 on weekdays and almost double for friday, saturday and sunday...lol...but my husband bought his ticket from an office and he got his ticket for $500 for a saturday...

Ok, so I broke my own rule and called DOS. I got DeDe the Douchebag. She could not tell me a darn thing. All she said was our case was updated as of today. ' Well, is that good or bad? ' , I asked. Snotty answer..." I CANT TELL YOU THAT! ". Okkkkk, Then I asked her, 'Are we back in checks? ' ...Her kind hearted reply was, " Doesnt look like it !! YOU ARE STILL IN AP! " .....Okkkkk......

Okay, after taking a quick peak at my legs under the desk I just noticed something new, unusual, and kinda freaky...

I have little red spots all over my legs I mean, I was kinda itchy last night, but these are not bug bites maby they will just go away...

Don't know about the fever, I've never checked. They aren't raised bumps, they red dots are under the skin.

I've had plenty of medical problems lately, but they were mostly attributed to my birth control pills by my doc, and the second opinion doc.... they just switched meds. Well that and they all thought I was pregnant and asked me to go back in a month for anther blood test (that was over a month ago, and no, not pregnant, and yes, still same symptoms)

Hey MENA guys and gals!!! My sweet husband went and bought laptop computer for me. He has been saving his own money to get it. I have never had one and it takes a little getting use too. Now I can go anywhere in the house and be online. Anywhere in town for that matter. Our whole town is hooked up with free wi-fi. There are huge routers on top of light poles all over town. It was a gift to the city from the Gilmore foundation.
Hachemi just made it through midterms exams. He made A's on all his midterms except music appreciation, he had a B on that one. He has an A average in both his computer classes ,music appreciation, and in English 101 he has the highest average in the class. I am so proud of him. What was funny is that his music apprec. teacher told them if they went to a Southern Gospel benifit concert on campus that they would get extra credit, so my Muslim husband went and spent 4 hours listening to gospel music.
