Never done it but use the search feature and look up POE reviews on the Canada Forum.
Give yourself a few hours... 2 to 3.
I think it's probably pretty smooth if you give yourself plenty of time

When activating the K-1, I went through the Calgary POE (this was in November, 2004). Once I got into secondary processing, it took a grand total of 15 minutes. It wasn't all that busy at the time, but I had given myself a couple of hours in case there were a ton of flights going through at the same time.

Mine was really easy...took about 20 min.

I also had a pretty easy POE experience at YVR. Definitely give at least an hour ahead of the regular time you'd give yourself to get settled in the airport.

Just... make sure they don't misclassify you in the system, or bad things happen.

Mine was in Minneapolis, and it was pretty easy. Your best bet would be to look at people who have gone through them and read their reviews. That's why we wrote them up...for others to see our experience.
