Can I find a country to do the DFC and forgo the K1 if it works?????????

In order to do DCF one must be married and in doing so you would not be able to continue with the K-1 as that is for a fiance. There is also mostly resident requirements in order to do DCF. Read the guide on DCF in the guides section to understand the process further.

woodgc,

Certainly. But the list of counties that you can search is rather limited - probably 1, or 2 at most.

woodgc,

Good luck finding a US consulate in a country that will accept an I-130 on behalf of a beneficiary who is not a citizen of or resident in that country.

If you do find one, please let us know as a lot of people would want to learn about it.
