Hello. I have researched vj and googled other sites to obtain the answer to this question however not to my satisfaction.
My wife is from Gujarat in India. I am filing for K-3. For question # 22, I would be putting "N/A" in the first part. In the second part, I need to put the american consular post. Now, here is my confusion. In India, there is only 1 embassy - "New Delhi" and there are 3 other consulates - Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai.
1. Is this question asking me to put embassy's name or nearby consulate's name?
2. If its consulate's name, can I pick Mumbai since its nearby or is there something specifically identified for the residents of Gujarat?

You can email Mumbai consulate to find out. It seems to me Mumbai would be the one for you because it is nearest to Gujrat.
