How's everyone's monday so far? The start of another week...hopefully more approvals out of CSC! I'm feeling vibes for all of us first half of Feb folks!

Monday has been so far so good...its almost over for us here in the UK!! sunset in an hour......!!

I think I'm jealous! This day is going by so SLOWLY for me.

Sane? Looking at the list I made I just noticed it really stands out that they do not approve in the order received

I know, it's frustrating on the one hand that they don't approve in order...however, look at all the people with extended wait times. I really don't want to be waiting for them to be approved before they even look at my case.

From what I understand, as they're received they are boxed up and put into storage...once a box is finished, they pull out the oldest box, open it up, and distribute petitions to adjudicators. Up until now they've been processed in order. This is where things start to get wonky...the adjudicator can process them in whatever order they like. Maybe they go through and do all of the cases that have kids...maybe they're on vacation for a couple of days...maybe they're new, so they work slowly...maybe they just had a fight with their spouse, so they're grumpy...maybe your case has something they don't quite understand, so they set it aside and grab the next one in the pile...who knows? While the other half of the box could be on the next desk over where the person is in a good mood...or they feel especially productive today...or they've been there for 10 years, so they can approve them quickly...or they just found out their wife is pregnant, so all is right in the world. Once they hit the adjudicators desk, we're at their whim and they get approved willy-nilly. All we can do is buckle down and wait...it may not be fair, but it is what it is. Either we stress, make ourselves miserable, and end up with stomach ulcers...or we accept it and deal with our down days as they come, but try to be happy when we can.

I'm feeling that the first week of July is when we'll start seeing 2nd half of February folks. I hope earlier...but that's my instinct from watching January approvals. They seemed to do January 1st-15th for several weeks, then added in the 15th-31st.

As for sane...well........as sane as I ever was, I guess.

I would be so happy if we start hearing something in July. What would be the best is if I get an approval on my birthday (July 12)!! That would be sweet. I can wish right? I'd even be happy with an August approval as it's estimated to be.

Hello Fellow February Filers! :-) My NOA1 was Feb 19th, and I am HOPING to have it all wrapped up before August. We have all paperwork done and just waiting to make the call to the Kiev Embassy. :-) Of course, I know NOA2 is the next step, but I have confidence it will be soon. The calculator in my time line still estimates end of July for adjudication, but I hope it will be sooner. And WHY of WHY did I have to send my I-29F to CSC when I am in Indiana and am MUCH closer to the VSC?? (of course, that is a rhetorical question, but it is frustrating anyway. ;-) )

Hi Aravis, has your case been touched recently? We filed on the same day so I'm hoping that if you get approval there's a chance that my petition will soon be approved. I just checked it online and it was not yet touched since Feb.

Nope...I've never had a definite, for sure touch. I had a weird thing where one day the last updated date switched to November of 2007...but it's switched back and it still says last updated 2/14. We'll get there! I'm hoping this will be our week!

If you are not included in my list, but you received your NOA1 in February, please make sure you have created and updated your timeline!! I take all of the list information directly from Igor's (which takes it directly from the VJ timeline info), there is no other way for me to reliably track it. If you are included in Igor's, but are not on my list...give me a couple of days to get the list updated.

ok.now this is probably a silly question after all this time, but how do I know if my case has been "touched"? I have my WAC case number, and when I go to http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis and enter it in, it always shows the same thing: "Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

I have signed up for email notifications of changes, and have yet to receive one. Is there some place else to check to see the magical word "touched"?

When you log in to the gub'ment page to check you application there should be a last updated date. If that date changes that means you got "touched". if it is still the same as since you first started then no "touch"

The hardest part is knowing that while im sleeping there is the chance that BMJ will get notified... and then theres the dread of waking up and knowing that while im at work nothing will be happening. *sigh* Theres a light at the end of this tunnel We just need the door at the end to be opened.

I'm curious as to how people are getting their NOA2's. E-mail or snail mail? Is the USCIS website working or is it sporadic as usual. Inquiring minds want to know. BEFORE I GO CRAZY!!!!

From everything I've heard the website is working again. I wouldn't rely on it, of course, because it is about as reliable as CSC, but for now it seems to be notifying people properly.

wow..overnight a massive jump from 93 to 79th on Igors list for my position on the list ...but I can only spot 2 NOA2's updated on 17th june on the same list. I do hope this is indeed correct !! Has anyone else seen a big jump towards the number one position??

USISC updated their timeline!

That's a result of the USCIS updating their processing timelines yesterday. Igor's List reflects those petitions within the current USCIS processing timeframe. Before yesterday, the "beginning" date was November 17, 2007. Now, it's December 18, 2007. So, the names on the list (Igor's) filed prior to Dec. 18 have now dropped off that list.

CONGRATS TO ALL WHO GOT THEIR NOA2. AND GOOD LUCK ON YOUR COMING SCHEDULE. I HOPE IT WILL MORE FASTEN SINCE THEY ALREADY UPDATE THERE TIMELIME. I just checked USCIS case status online and it's down. When I checked it 2 hours ago my case was not yet touched. I can't wait to get NOA2. I couldn't sleep last night because I keep praying and thinking about it.

Are there people who are getting NOA2 these past 2 days? I've checked Igor's list and it is still the same.

NOPE I wish I knew what they are doing out there now. This is getting frustrating to say the least.

You know...I've only been watching it really closely for about two months now...but it seems like it always goes down for a week or two after they update processing times. Has anyone else noticed that?

what's going on at CSC? i don't see new approvals lately. I can't wait to get through this process. It's so frustrating not to receive NOA2 yet. It's been 132 days since our filing date

Only 2 approvals this week.
What are they doing?

Yeah. I thought this is our week but it seems we have to wait for few more weeks. What's more frustrating is the fact that we waited for three and half years for this but unfortunately things are going so slow. I envy those who just met last year and got approvals already.

I think we're seeing another period of their on-line updates not working properly. The last several weeks has been iffy on approvals...last week was really low on Friday, but over the weekend, Monday, and Tuesday we saw the number of approvals go up a lot. I bet we'll start seeing paper notifications coming through next week!

It would be nice to see a few weeks of 40 or 50 approvals.

I'm just about ready to go off on a mind-blowing rant, I'm trying to hold it in. My SO has been having to keep me calm the last couple of days
