Now...I am not sure what will transpire..... but my expedite request for Algiers was approved. The NVC is sending my entire case to Algeria in the next 10 days and my case will process at the consulate....I don't have any idea how this will speed up the interview but the NVC has already told me they are shipping my case to Algiers and the ds230 and my i864 areon there way through the nvc system and wont process there,,,,,they will process in Algiers. What am I looking at as far as wait times for the interview with this expedite approved?

Good news. I would think you can call the Consulate and get an interview just as soon as they get your file. If I were you I would call or e-mail them right now and ask. Nice to deal with a quiet and responsive Consulate. Best of luck!

My case left NVC today for Algiers.....I have almost died 2 times from respiratory arrest and I had a letter from the high risk obstetrics unit outlying my prognosis of struggling alone and sick with asthma,,,,Its been since last May that we were married so its been a long haul......i turned blue and the baby almost died as well as me and I am in the last part of nvc....I still have not heard from the embassy. NVC has been telling me stuff and just told me my stuff has already left NVC

Dear Madam:
Thank you for your message. Your husband's file will be transferred to Algiers soon. Usually NVC include all the documents that you sent on the file.
Sincerely,
Consular Assistant
