Their second interview is Sunday in Cairo and I wanted to give some Irish luck in hopes that Cairo will get their arses in gear and issue that visa!!!

I want to thank all of you for your good wishes, especially Bridget who made this post. Akram just called me to say that the consular officer said the case was approved, but the medical papers had expired, he needs to redo that and send back by dhl to the embassy and that they would issue the visa insha allah. (we know how that goes, but I'm grateful for anything good that comes our way)

Alhamdulillah for everything. May Allah bless everyone on this forum, and make our waiting times easy on us insha Allah and ameen.

I don't know how long the medical is good for, but that's what Akram told me, medical was expired.

They already had his passport since last interview, and didn't give it back (at least he didn't mention that). I'll get the details tonight insha Allah. Had to go to work with NO SLEEP . Alhamdulillah my boss understood why i looked like a total wreck .

Let me get some sleep, i'll be back later insha Allah.

How on earth did I miss this? We didn't have a slumber party? I didn't even know the interview was today I AM SO SORRY!!!
I'm very happy to see that it went well and that all they need now is a renewed clean bill of health. Insha'Allah that will come with ease and he will get that visa super quick.

I hope it is ok to step out there and say... Come be one of the guests of honor tonight at the slumber party in celebration of your good news.
