Where are you coming to in Illinois? My fiancee will be her in August or September. I have alot of filipina friends here already. There is a Philippine grocery store very near here. I have a friend in southern Illinois that is married to a filipina, and they get together with other fil-amer couples quite often. Let me know what city you are coming to, and maybe I can help you.

You are going to be living about 1 hour from where I am at. A very easy drive. I go to Moline every year for a music festival. Maybe after my fiancee gets here, we can meet. She will be looking for new friends also.

that's great! maybe i can chat with you wife too...my husband told me he didnt see much of filipino there..Im telling him for sure that there is a filipino community there and i know i will find it...filipino's just like a mushroom they are everywhere..hehehehe

I work in Moline and live 45 minutes away. As I mentioned in another Illinois post there are already four pinays in our little town and soon to be five.
