After five months of of getting papers together and then the money, I finally sent out my i-130 petition papers for my wife and kid. Now the long wait. I hope I don't get a rejection. My only concern would be on the g325-a papers for my relatives. There were a couple of places that I had to use white out. This is before I was told that any mistakes had to be scratched with a line through it instead. I wasn't trying to cover anything up, just a typo error. Anyone else had any problems with these people for this? That would be a major hassle to go and send a new set of papers to the philippines again to have them signed. We will see.

I tried to send them UPS, and they said they couldn't send to a P.O. BOX address. So I had to send them express through the U.S. Postal Service using overnight express.

So the next step is I guess I will here from the UCIS in about 6 weeks?

I made a couple of corrections with white out to my then fiance's G-325a. I didn't have any problems.

best of luck with the process good.gif

Thank you!, that kind of puts my mind at ease. I keep getting there is something that isn't going to fly with these people. Who knows. I just have to wait and see. The other hurdle I will have to jump through is my wife's birth certificate. It was so unreadable from the N.S.O's office that we had to get a security paper attached to it from attorney in the town she lives in. There were initials all over the certificate signed from various people at the civil registrars office when it was originally made. It almost looks like it was caught in some kind of major flood at one time and everything is pretty smeared on it. But that is the best that the N.SO. could do. I guess if I have a problem down the line, I will have to probably have to hire a attorney to have it straightened out in a court over there. Which I hear takes about another 6 months and lots of money!! I hope not. unsure.gif
