ok ok here is the scenario... I have enough milage for a roundtrip ticket to Europe.. might only cost me the taxes.. possibly $100 or so .. sooo..
If I can get to Europe.. where would the least expensive flight be to go to Europe?
Does anyone know of any special flights or who flys easiest.. cheapest to Europe.. I am not tied to a European country.. just need to find the country that will give me the best flight to India from there...
So.. If if look .. I can do say Paris or Frankfurt.. or London.. all these..
If i can make it work I wish to spend a bit of time with Jan and if i can use my milage it would be fantastic..
A round trip from Portland to India is about 1100.. but . if i can fly to Europe .. and get a ticket to India from there for $500 or less whoo hooo. I think I can manage it.

Where are you coming to in India? Some deals may relate to where you are flying in and out of... Just so you are aware, (in case you are coming to Bangalore) they are trying to get the new international airport open here at the end of March/beginning of April, but things are not looking too promising right now.

I think I heard that Jet Airways was doing some special deals to London - but that was possibly a year ago! (My how time flies!) I would check some Indian travel web-sites such as: www.makemytrip.com or www.travelguru.com, etc. for deals in and out of India - you can sign up and get E-Tickets...

Janak is in Bhavanager.. I would like to go to Ahmedabad.. but seems many flights go to Mumbai.. might be better to look for deal to Mumbai..then connect with a flight to Ahmedabad..

Just know I cant take being away anylonger... we are hitting our 4 year mark of being together .. and. 2 years 7 months since i been in his arms..

I don't have any better options to offer (expect to try Lufthansa or British Airways, they seem to have the most flights out to India)....but be sure you are aware of the "one suitcase" restriction for any flights from Europe to India.

What about Janak's tourist visa, and plans for Canada and maybe marriage there or here in USA? When is he visiting?

Just as frustrating as all this can ever be... he has not gotten the B1/B2 yet... hard to explain.. ....
I just know that if i have to wait anylonger... I will be flying to be with him.. I am having a hard time dealing with the circles that we are spinning in mudd.. .. I dont expect anyone to understand...

All I can say.. is.. family dynamics... and a x-wife.. in India.. dont = easy way to come..

Janak is hoping next week things will be clear for him to travel.. .. he has had personal issues needing attention.. . sooo.. I am hoping .. that he gets to Delhi and finish this last part.. .. if not.. I will find some way to fly.. even if it is for a week.. ..
Kinda rips your heart out when even he.. has finally said.. he needs me there... didnt think he would ever get to that point.. .. he is usually so strong .. but. we both are at our witts end..

Please put some prayers out there that he can get this done and completed to get here.. before I end up doing all i can to get to India..
Financially.. it would be hard to do.. but will do.. but then.. I have my daughter to worry about.. yes she is 15.. she can stay with friends.. then we have the dogs to worry about etc... .. all the while if i do go... I know I cannot say a word to my family that I will be doing this trip for they dont understand.. adn only think that there is no reason why he cant just come here.. why is it i have to make the trip there... .. they have no clue to the ins/outs of visa issuances.. .. to them. . if he cant come here.. then he doesnt want to be here that bad... .. sooo totally not the truth.. but.. you cant explain to people that dont want to know..
