Tom informed me our NOA2 had an "A" number 9 digits long.. Is this our A number for now? Someone her postded their A number was 8 digits.

Also - how do do track file from NVC to embassy via courrier service. I know it was posted on here and did a search but can't bring it up.

Thanks for any help.

my A number has 8 digits. Are you sure it is an A-number?

tommysgirl,

What you're asking about probably is the A#.

How are you counting the digits? The 'A' as 1 followed by 8 numbers, or not counting the 'A' and there are 9 numbers?

If the latter, is the first numer a zero? That's usually the difference between A#s written with 9 rather than 8 numeric digits.
