Marco left the interview at the Naples Consulate with the visa in his passport!! He said the interview was quick and painless, just two questions, and a request for the packet 3 documents, but I'm sure he'll post his review of the consulate in full detail when he gets back home. So the only thing left is to book the plane ticket and take the vows This whole process took about 8 months (224 days) from start to finish, I remember how hopeful were were that it would be done in six. Ha!! wishful thinking since the governement has its hand in all of this. But I digress...I do want to say thanks for all the continuing support we received from this forum. There is truly no other place like it anywhere, for all the support and information. We all share a common bond here. I know that the journey is still not over, theres still adjustments, cards, appointments, blah blah blah, more things to fill out, and pay for
but at least the mountain of stress has moved from our shoulders. As for any advice, make sure all your papers and forms are correct. Use visajourney, and its resources to check and double check everything. Marco said that out of 30 people that were at the consulate today, about 10 didnt get their visas, some for silly things like not checking the papers they had or for leaving something out.
