Just thought I would comment. I mailed out our packet last Friday 2/29/08, USCIS (VSC) had the check cashed by 3/6/08. The packet would have arrived Monday, and check cashed by Thursday..... they amaze me,how the first step can be completed so quickly, and then we all end up sitting around waiting for approvals at least a year.
