hi our vj family! i would like to asknthis urgent question. can i apply for an ssn afer my wedding coz i'll be changing my last name then. so, to save effort and maybe money, can i apply only after our wedding?

Yes. Thats what my cousin did and it was okay. Her SSN card now carries her husband's surname.

I did it, and i think its better if u apply after ur marriage. Just bring ur marriage certificate (original and photocopy), passport and I-94.
