Hi everyone!

I just want to share the good news, if you still don't know, that USCIS now allows military spouses and children stationed abroad to do their interview and take the oath of citizenship overseas.

I'm so glad I don't have to go back to the US for my interview!

As of now, i don't have any. But our legal officer from the legal department here in Sigonella, Italy gave me a letter, which states that if I would apply for my naturalization here, I don't have to go back stateside. And it applies to all military dependents which are sponsored on a military duty orders abroad. The Authorization bill was just signed this Jan '08. Nice huh.

You might want to inquire about this to your legal office. Good luck to us!
