Did any of you get a priority date on your NOA2 from USCIS? My first notice just had a blank priority date and my second notice says October something or other. Does it even mean anything when on this type of visa? I was hoping that was the date it'd be done by, hehe.
The priority date is equal to receive date.(receive by USCIS)
When NVC sent of response for my inquiry beside date of birth, type of visa CR or IR they wrote this priority date.
I think it might be important for embassy ? Not sure.

Yes, you are correct when the queue gets longer - priority date is used to process/adjudicate cases.
