US embassy in bangkok got our returned packet 3 last March 31, 2008. Now we are waiting for our packet 4.....

Out of curiosity....how many are waiting still for cases to reach NVC? I've been reading that the forwarding process from CSC has come to a grinding halt for those receiving NOA2 in late March and through April......

Congrats on your NOA2, deb! We waited 2 weeks for our case to reach NVC, but we got our NOA2 on 3/10 so I don't know about the later dates. I hope yours reaches NVC soon!!!

Debblyn, congrats on the NOA2. It was taking about 1 to 2-1/2 weeks for petitions to get from CSC to NVC. If it has slowed down beyond that, I'm not sure by how much. The hard copy of the NOA2 will tell you to call NVC if you don't get the letter from then within 30 days of the NOA2 date, and for some people (like me) NVC processing can take close to a week, so I would expect it to get there at least within 3 weeks. I would also expect it to take at least a week from whenever you get your last touch on the USCIS site (some people get touches after their NOA2, others do not).

Quite a few of us are at 3-4 weeks and counting. Not, to get you down, but I thought that you should know. They don't have a record of us yet. We were approved March 27.

It figures...CSC slow in all areas...wonder what their excuse is?

I did not realize they had slowed down that much!

NOA2 was on April 25.. NVC just confirmed on the phone the received the case from CSC today, May 5th.

Mine was received at NVC on May1st and sent out to London on May 2nd.....things are finally moving along....good luck to everyone still waiting!

Yay! Glad to see movement from NVC to consulates!! Congrats to Klaire&Martin and Debbylyn. Things should move fast from that point!!

We have our schedule now for interview. June 23, 2008 8 am (Bangkok). Thank God!!!!

Once I know that it is at the embassy (via DHL tracking or whatever), can I call the embassy to get their case #, etc. or is it necessary to wait until my fiance receives a letter from them?

You can get your case number from NVC. That will be the same case number the consulate will use. You can either call them again or wait for them to send the letter to your fiance. If it got there May 5, they should be done with it in the next 4 or 5 days.

We finally got our NOA2 yesterday 5/9/08 so now we will be waiting for it to get to the NVC

I think I am destined to hit pockets of no progress. I got an email from the embassy last Monday that they had everything and he went in Thurs to see if he could shake loose his packages and they told him it wasn't there

Mike-Mely, congratulations! We got our NOA2 the same day as you did - May 9! How do you know that NVC already received your case, did you call them? If so, what time were you able to reach them? I read somewhere in this thread that the best time to call is around 10PM Eastern time, is it true?

Yes I called them, I was able to get through at about 10:30 and 11:45pm ET

NVC sent our case to Manila Embassy on 5/19/08!

Got an interview date in August .. I had hoped for earlier. Between that and my sons cat dying I was a mess last night
